Good luck brought Paige to McMul on St. Patrick’s Day 2008. With an English degree from Utah State University in hand, she quickly progressed from writer, editor, and proofreader to director of operations. She went back to school to get her MBA from Westminster University and became president of McKinnon-Mulherin in 2017. A year later, Paige was recognized as one of Utah Business’s Forty Under 40.
Have you met Ted? Since 2018 when he joined McMul, nearly every new project has started with Ted. With undergraduate degrees in history and French from Utah State University, a master’s in nonprofit management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, more than fifteen years of business and sales experience, and an insatiable desire to keep learning, Ted will happily chat with you on literally any topic.
This four-time limerick contest winner enjoys the challenge of getting just the “write” word. Jennifer has been one of our best writers and editors since she started at McMul in 2015, and she now oversees our quality department and professional development. With an English degree and more than 25 years of experience, she helps cheer, mentor, and coach our team to write right and deliver their best work on every project.
As Walt Disney said, “There’s no magic in magic. It’s all in the details.” And Steven makes the details look easy. Whether drawing on his professional and technical writing degree from Utah State University to proofread a final document or using his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University to manage our internal systems and send invoices, he’s been making sure every detail is in place at McMul since 2016.
For another image of Synthia, look up efficient in the dictionary. She adeptly balances her corporate communication degree and master’s in instructional technology to make sure everyone is in the right role and projects are completed on time. Everywhere she goes, she’s recognized for her hard work and creativity, including winning McMul Awards since 2018 and being a finalist in the AECT Design & Development Competition.
Not all writers are bookworms, but you can bet Ancherie is, since she worked for the Salt Lake City Public Library for a decade before coming to McMul in 2012. She leverages her master’s degree in professional communication from Westminster University to write and edit all types of content, especially proposals.
Extreme dedication is what gets Jennifer up at 4 a.m. for international client meetings—that and more than twelve years of management experience. She leans into her communication degree from the University of Utah to both write clear content and develop relationships with clients. Queen of managing calls, schedules, and personalities, Jennifer is an ideal keep-your-cool project manager.
Elizabeth wears many hats. She’s been a high school English teacher for more than twenty years, leveraging her undergraduate and master’s degrees in secondary English education and English literature from New Mexico State University. With the same virtual red pen in hand, she’s been expertly editing content at McMul since 2018.
While Emily’s official education includes a bachelor’s degree in English from LaGrange University and a master’s in technical communication from Missouri University of Science and Technology, her unofficial degrees are in the Star Wars canon and Taylor Swift lyrics. Since 2020, she’s been impressing one of our largest clients with precise editing.
Because Valerie is not one to brag, you might not know that she’s an incredible, competition-winning golfer. An effective golf swing needs precision and power, and that’s precisely what Valerie brings to her editing. With degrees in communication and psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Valerie brings three decades of experience in documentation development.
Brianne is so proactive she might just be a mind reader. Whether writing a blog, leading a meeting, or organizing a Gantt chart, she impressively delivers with little direction. Her degrees in journalism and English with a professional and business writing emphasis from Utah State University prepared her for the wide variety of work at McMul, which she does so well.
